More Arathi

On Saturday I spent much time in the Arathi Basin battleground, attempting to add to my honor point total of 642. I did a little more on Sunday, and I now have my total up to 5566 honor points, a significant amount towards the desired amount of around 14,000 for my new shoulder armor. However, I was not satisfied with my performance in the battleground. I’m a pretty competitive person, and unless I am consistently near the top of the list at the end fo the battle, I will be looking to improve myself. I noticed that hunters are often near or at the top of the list, especially in kills, kill shots, and damage done. Also, I noticed that I am rarely (perhaps never) the top hunter. So I looked at what might be holding me back. Of course, gear is one answer, and that is the main reason I am there. The other appears to be my pet. I have used a bear ever since I got my first pet, and with the exception of following some guide’s advice about using a different animal here and there to learn their skills, I have stuck with the bear. Unfortunately, as good as they are at tanking, they are bottom of the heap when it comes to dealing

The brilliance of Brilliant Glass

The brilliance of Brilliant Glass Patch 2.4.2 just threw the gem market in for a loop. Because Brilliant Glass now has a chance of giving an epic gem, the reagents required for the Jewelcrafting ability became scarce and prices shot through the roof. Uncommon gems which used to rot in players’ banks or languish on the Auction Houses started disappearing into the hands of Jewelcrafters and cunning businessmen (sometimes both). Blood Garnets, as nice as they are, never sold for more than 1 Gold apiece, even after Brilliant Glass was introduced. Nowadays, on our server, they’re about 10 WoW Gold a pop. And why not? It’s almost impossible to catch it on the Auction Houses now since it’s pretty much an instant sale. Even prospecting has gotten some love because even destroying Fel Iron Ore has become useful for a chance to get some uncommon (and sometimes rare) gems. The chain reaction of profit continues as Jewelcrafters prospect, get uncommon gems, create Brilliant Glass, and sometimes luck out on an epic gem. The irony is, with most servers now having the alchemy lab on the Isle of Quel’danas now open

got an automated e-mail

I’ll probably never know if Blizzard’s tech people figured out that workers for the online “power level” company IGE I hired had been using the account–or if somebody over there just read the column. The response to the story, over at my e-mail inbox, was much more friendly than what I was bracing myself for. I expected some cranky mail from serious WoW fans, but mostly I got advice about how to get more enjoyment out of the game or opinions about the practice of “power leveling.” I was also half-expecting that I might get e-mail from other folks who, like me, found the game to be a bit too much of a grind to hold their interest. Didn’t get any of those either, so maybe it’s just me. Last night I got an automated e-mail from Blizzard Entertainment, the maker of World of Warcraft . My ” WoW ” account has been put on a 3-day suspension.Anyway, I tried to log in to that WoW account this morning to confirm that the account for my character “Johnmullet” was on ice. But I couldn’t–it turns out the entire realm of Azeroth is down this morning for

Diary Of A World Of Warcraft Player

FlyinHaiAgin: u fuckin idiots why wow gold fuck don’t u listen to me we COULD HAVE WON I keep my head held high, as every good leader does, hoping against hope that better days are in store for the Alliance. If only these assholes would FUCKING LISTEN to General Gunderson, those days would be here like…tomorrow. General Gunderson knows his Basin, and he knows how best to use his troops. Little do these WoW-soldiers know that when they sign up for a fun fifteen-minute battleground, they’re about to be led by a commander who makes George Patton look like George Pickett. Shakespeare never met my mom. The “dogs wow gold war” can’t slip anywhere when they’re cooped up in a kennel because mom didn’t pay the internet bill. Thanks, mom, for keeping General Gunderson away from his troops. This General has led his troops to victory over 600 times in the last 3 years. wow gold Washington leading his army across the Delaware, Gunderson bravely plows through the rushing bandwidth of the RoadRunner Rubicon to defend the Alliance. When we’re about to lose, I always debrief my army: Now, if you’ll excuse me, this “dog of
