I’ve never seen anything else in engineering make more than 1 per combine or 5 if one of those things. This is the first time I have seen it do anything like this. Its a small bone but it’s a bone none the less. Something as uber as alchemists procs would be better but this is more than we had. Nearly all engineering schematics produce a fixed amount per combine. Many combines produce just one of the item, but there are things that produce multiple items, like turning one Silver bar into 5 Silver Contacts. However, there are also some combines (previously all explosives, I believe) that produce a variable number of items. Creating Coarse Dynamite actually makes 1-3 sticks. Same with E-Z Thro Dynamite. Making Copper Bombs produces 2-4 bombs per combine, and so forth. All of these explosives are creatable by skill 175 or higher. To the best of my knowledge, the Handful of Cobalt Bolts is the first non-explosive item in Engineering that can produce a variable number of finished items with one combine.
